Dame Allan’s Junior School in Newcastle upon Tyne, is one of the North East’s premier educational institutions, is serious on instilling environmental awareness within the school’s ethos and code of conduct. 

As part of this, Dame Allan’s partnered with Future Group, to take a significant stride towards a sustainable future with a cutting-edge PV installation. 

Working in partnership with the Future Group as its commercial Solar PV Installation Partner, SCJ Renewables installed the 79.16kWp system, which is estimated to produce 63,963kWh’s of energy on an annual.

The installation also brings environmental benefits, saving an estimated 30,035kg in CO2 emissions per year, with a payback period of just four years. SCJ’s installation team worked closely with Dame Allan’s to plan the installation around the half-term holidays to ensure there was no interruption for the students.
