<4 years

The massive 1,518-panel system, spanning an area roughly the size of a football pitch, is estimated to generate an impressive 794,000 kWh of clean energy annually, enough to power 250 average UK homes. The system converts sunlight into usable electricity through eight high-performance Solis 110kW inverters.

Engineered to the highest safety and grid compliance standards, the installation includes eight rapid shutdown boxes. This critical safety feature automatically isolates all solar DC strings on the roof in the event of an emergency, such as a fire alarm activation, ensuring ultimate protection for a site of this scale.

This installation will help CMP Products reduce its reliance on grid electricity while also cutting carbon emissions and lowering long-term energy costs. Any surplus power generated will be automatically exported to the National Grid.

With a payback period of just four years, this investment offers environmental benefits alongside rapid financial returns. To deliver this complex project, the SCJ Renewables team actively collaborated with industry leaders like G59 Projects, designing and manufacturing bespoke engineering solutions tailored specifically to CMP Products’ infrastructure.
